About Me

I started my career in reproductive health while I was completing my psychology degree at Cleveland State University. Among the skills I picked up, I found that I really enjoyed drawing blood and I quickly became the go to person for "hard sticks." That alongside my longtime love of body art, I started getting more curious about piercing, although I never really saw it as a realistic career path for me.

I spent 10 years in that field until I decided I wanted to dive deeper into the world of mental health, working in both outpatient and inpatient settings. It was intense, helping others in some of their most challenging times while also struggling with my own anxiety. But in 2017, I met my amazing husband who encouraged me to focus on my own mental health. I took a huge leap, sought therapy and medication, and started focusing on self-care and healing.

It's so funny how life works sometimes because just before our wedding in 2019, I stumbled upon a "Now Hiring" sign at a local piercing shop. I jumped in headfirst and never looked back, completing my apprenticeship and then moving on to more independent work.

Now, I'm focusing on blending my love for psychology with my passion for piercing to create safe, comforting, and transformative experiences for everyone.
